The connection to Chicago (our gigapop, or "entrance ramp") for Internet2 is in. Jim Cross has assembled a faculty advisory committee to promote the use of our Internet2 connection. The charge includes:

• Recommending policy governing its use
• Reviewing requests from faculty to gain full access to it
• Educating faculty on how the high-speed network can benefit them
• Helping others find grant money to support their use of Internet2
